"Listen carefully. The world doesn’t want heroes. They want slaves they can elect to serve them—and hold the power to replace them." This hits the nail. I haven´t enjoyed reading fantasy in a while until you recommeded this. Really well written. Perhaps it is too real to be fantasy huh? Thanks <3.
Hey... I'm a non-fiction reader. I find fiction boring(maybe I just haven’t come across a good one yet).
People keep telling me to read fiction to improve my storytelling, but I’ve never really bought into that idea.
I want to write fiction the way I see it. I’m not interested in building the craft through frameworks or following the usual advice....it all feels too similar. I want to explore my own style.
Thank you for pointing that out, and I’m glad you liked it!
“But wars, like storms, pass. And peace, unlike war, is quiet—uncomfortably quiet.”
Favorite quote! Well written, I enjoyed this!
Oh Amanda,
Thanks so much for the comment! u’re such a sweetheart....
You picked a line thats the heart of the whole piece.
The cause united them.
The victory isolated them.
The struggle gave them identity.
The peace exposed their flaws
Powerful words, these are applicable in real life also. Many rulers once a rebellion and robinhood for the suffering people.
Ved, you’ve perfectly captured the soul of the story. Thank you so much!
Wow. I don’t normal choose this type of story, but this is so engaging and well done! Thank you!
Thank u so much buddy....I am glad you like it...
